The JVMI participated in a side event about Iran’s 1988 massacre at the 36th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva on 14 September 2017. The event called on the OHCHR to launch an international commission of inquiry into the 1988 massacre of more than 30,000 political prisoners in Iran.
