Signatories Of Open Letter To UN High Commissioner Volker Türk - August 2024
More than 300 current and former United Nations human rights and legal experts, Nobel laureates, statesmen, and NGOs and academic institutions have written to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, endorsing a landmark report of the UN Special Rapporteur on Iran on the need for accountability for Iran’s atrocity crimes.
The experts are calling for the establishment of an international accountability mechanism to take actionable measures aimed at ending impunity for Iran’s atrocity crimes, chief among them the 1988 massacre.
