Position at the time of 1988 massacre: Head of Prison in Esfahan
Present post and occupation: Senior advisor to the head of Organization of Prisons.
He had an active role in the massacre of political prisoners in 1988 in the city of Esfahan. In 2011 the EU imposed sanctions on him for human rights violations as an official of prison.
