UN commission of inquiry needed to end impunity over Iran’s 1988 massacre

Five human rights organisations with consultative status to the United Nations human rights body have submitted a joint written statement to the 35th session of the Human Rights Council about the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran and the need for the international community to hold the perpetrators to account.

The joint written statement is titled: “UN commission of inquiry needed to end impunity over 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran”.
